One of the things I’ve been craving more of—and I know many of you have too—is deeper connection around the things that really matter.
Not just surface-level small talk. Not another to-do.
Real conversations. Shared reflection. A place to say, “Yes, me too.”
That’s why I’m introducing something I’ve been dreaming about for a while:
The Wild Woman Book Club
We’ll gather seasonally—four times a year, for heart-centered conversations about books that speak to this messy, beautiful, wild chapter of life we’re in.
These won’t be “read and report” meetings.
They’ll be soft, nourishing gatherings where we come together around a shared story, reflect on what landed for us, and talk about how it intersects with our own lives.
Because books, when read in community, become more than just pages. They become portals, invitations, mirrors.
Help Me Choose Our First Book
I’ve got two titles in mind—and I’d love to know which one calls to you right now.
Option 1: Financial Feminist by Tori Dunlap
This book is more than a guide to money—it’s a reclamation of power. Tori shares practical tools, real talk, and a no-shame approach to understanding your finances, setting boundaries, and building the kind of freedom we don’t often talk about in women’s circles.
It’s empowering, clear, and infused with values that align with living intentionally.
Option 2: It’s OK That You’re Not OK by Megan Devine
A deeply validating and beautifully written book about grief—not just death-related grief, but the kind that shows up in midlife transitions, identity loss, and quiet heartbreaks. Megan invites us to stop trying to fix pain and instead make space for it with honesty, compassion, and grace.
It’s a permission slip to feel deeply and stop pretending we’re fine when we’re not.
Here’s How It’ll Work
We’ll pick our first book by May 25th, and then we’ll gather online to share what came up for us on Tuesday, August 5th at 4pm PST.
If you’d like to be part of the Wild Woman Book Club, you’ll need to be a paid subscriber to The Wild Woman Collective. It’s where we gather, chat, and share reflections—and where you’ll also get access to all the other soulful content, conversations, and seasonal gatherings we offer.
You can cancel anytime, but I’d love for you to come explore what we’re creating together.
I can’t wait to read with you.
Big love,
Yvonne
